KARACHI/FAISALABAD: In a crackdown against unscrupulous elements, Law Enforcement Agencies (LEAs) arrested 10 suspects during separate raids in Karachi and Faisalabad, two cities of the country, on late Saturday night.
According to Radio Pakistan, Sindh Rangers arrested seven miscreants involved in street crimes, drug trafficking, and extortion during the overnight raids on Saturday night in Karachi. However, no further details with regard to their identifications were shared.
Separately, Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) arrested three alleged terrorists affiliated with a banned terrorist outfit from Faisalabad.
A huge cache of arms and ammunition including explosives and detonators from their possessions were also seized. The terrorists were planning a terror attack at an office of a security agency, the CTD officials said.
