ASJ sends Islamabad police ASI to Adiala jail  

 ISLAMABAD -Additional Sessions Judge (ASJ) Islamabad (West) Muhammad Sohail on Thursday sent a police officer of Islamabad police to Adiala Jail on 14-day judicial remand who was held on charges of sharing secret information with a foreign diplomat.

The accused ASI, identified as Zahoor Ahmed, was arrested by the counter-terrorism wing of Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) on the charge of sharing sensitive information with a foreign diplomat. 

According to details, the investigators of counter terrorism wing of FIA produced the ASI before ASJ Muhammad Sohail after expiry of his 10-day physical remand. 

The investigators pleaded further six-day physical remand of the accused police officer, however, the judge rejected the plea of investigators and sent the police officer to Adiala Jail on 14-day judicial remand.
