Karak couple killed for honour

KARAK - Two persons were allegedly killed in the name of honour here at Anar Banda area of Tehsil Banda Daud Shah on Sunday.
Police sources informed that on Saturday and Sunday night an engineering student Kamran Khan and a schoolteacher Nazia Shaheen were killed by the father-in-law of the woman inside the house at Anar Banda area in the limitations of Khurram police station in the name of honour.
Police took the bodies into custody to take to autopsy and arrested the accused along with the weapon used in the murder case. Police registered FIR of the double murder case against the accused and started further investigations.
SAFE PASSAGE TO MUSH OPPOSED
Central leader of Shabab-e-Milli, a sub-organisation of Jamaat-e-Islami, Atiqur Rehman has claimed that former dictator Gen (Retd) Pervez Musharraf is responsible for vulgarity in the country and vowed to take revenge of the martyred of Lal Masjid, Balochistan and FATA.
He was addressing to Umeed Pakistan rally here on Sunday at Karak. Earlier the workers of JI and Shabab-e-Milli rallied from the Niazi Well bus stop to Karak city.
He further said and warned if Musharraf was given safe passage, its responsibility would rest on Nawaz Sharif. He strongly criticised the festivals of Sindh and Punjab and added that the rulers were promoting the culture of vulgarity in the names of festivals. He demanded that movies of India and America should be banned in the country and resolved to stop its way at any cost. The central leader of SM claimed that unemployment has reached its peak in the country and the government has no programme to provide respectable employments to the educated youths of the country.
