The much awaited show of stars, Lux Style Awards took place in Lahore. The event was attended by many celebrities, some of which were hit and others were a miss.

Let’s find out our verdict on their choices:

1. Yay- Natasha Saleem: Draping a colourful Elan sari, Natasha played with the blouse, making it rightly chic with off shoulder, high-neck blouse. She was the first one I noticed, making a perfect red carpet choice.

2. Nay- Aamina Sheikh: She does it again. It seemed as if the designer brand Sana Safinaz began to make the dress with full passion and urge but half way putting the details, they were tired and changed it into a cotton candy from the bottom. What’s more astonishing is, Aamina chose to wear it at LSA 2018. With short unkempt hair, the dress seemed more disastrous.

3. Yay-Fahmeen Ansari: Carrying a red on red-carpet is a task and the budding model did it like a diva! Donning long, coiled hair, her Sana Safinaz bright red sleek gown revealed little skin, enough to make her look smokin’ hot! Well done girl!

4. Nay-Ali Xeeshan: I have always praised Ali Xeeshan for his unique red carpet looks, but this time he went a little too far with it. He wore something that looked like a bathrobe and his incomprehensible headgear remained unimpressive. Full marks for confidence though.

5. Yay-Iqra Aziz: Asim Jofa’s gown with full voluminous hem and perfect shade of white brought the tale as old as time to mind, but the correct sign of a real-life style fairy tale is how much comfortably Iqra wore it with sleek laid back hair and least amount of accessories.

6. Nay-Mahira Khan: Curtain feels or Walima feels? No one can predict what our super favourite celebrity was thinking while picking this Faraz Manan gharara, that too in white for Lux Style Awards 2018.

7. Yay-Rabia Butt: Magic draped in nine yards, turning up the heat, defining the word glamorous, Rabia Butt was dazzling in this Faraz Manan black sari. The designer did wonderful job while making it and the model made it worth the effort!

8. Nay-Ayesha Omer: It seems Ayesha was too tired to pick or re-check what her stylist picked for LSA after her trip to New York. Too glittery towards the wrong side is not a fine choice for style awards.

9. Yay-Sadaf Kanwal: The starlet knew it was a fashion and style event. So she kept it cool in figure-hugging silk Zaheer Abbas single shoulder dress. She makes it to our best dressed list, like always!

10. Nay-Mawra Hocane: Insteadof Mawra’s choice here, we are more disappointed with Manish Malhotra. The white dress with too much unnecessary splash of colour made no sense and the organza at arms fell from the sky I guess. We kept on thinking was it inspired by parrots or peacocks?

11. Yay-Juggan Kazim: All black can never lose its charm and Juggan chose to stun us with a black figure hugging Kamiar Rokni dress and she let her accessories scream for her elegance.

12. Nay-Sajal Ali: Still living in the bubble of her wonderful role as a simple eastern daughter-in-law? But these were style awards- inappropriately dressed, Sajal. Sad to see her in the worst dressed list.
