Lahore - Punjab Lawn Tennis Association (PLTA) Secretary Rashid Malik, on behalf of entire tennis community in Pakistan, condoled the death of Muhammad Siddiqui, father of tennis referee Faheem Siddiqui, who has honour of serving Punjab Tennis Academy for a record time of 77 years. Malik said that Muhammad Siddiqui started serving the Punjab Tennis Academy (Coaching Centre) at the age of 15 years and he was 92 years old, when he died. He was laid to rest on Tuesday at Miani Sahab Graveyard. His son Faheem Siddiqui has also been serving Punjab Tennis Academy for a long time as not only performing duties of tournament referee but also coach the young tennis players. PLTA Secretary Rashid Malik, Chairman Rao Iftikhar Ahmad, Pakistan Tennis Federation President Salim Saifullah Khan and entire Pakistan tennis community have expressed their grief over the demise and prayed to Allah Almighty that may the departed soul rest in eternal peace and grant the courage to the bereaved family to bear this irreparable loss.
