MARDAN - A 27-year old woman was allegedly raped by five persons in the limits of Kharki Police Station, police said.
Robina Bibi wife of Qasami, Kamrali resident, told the police that on January 20 she was going to home in the evening when near cricket ground Mihran, Hazrat Ali and Talha along with two other unidentified men, residents of Qasami, took her to a deserted area and allegedly raped her. Kharki police registered case against the alleged accused under sections 376/337A (i) and 34.
Later, DPO Dr Zahidullah Khan took notice of the incident and constituted a police party to investigate the case and arrest the accused.
