We owe our peace and stability to Shuhada who wrote history with their blood: Gen Bajwa

ISLAMABAD   -   Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa and Begum COAS visited family of Shaheed Captain Basit Ali at Shaheed’s native village near Haripur. COAS prayed for the departed soul and offered Fateha, says a press release issued by the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) Directorate on Friday.

While interacting with the family of Shaheed , COAS said that nothing is greater than laying down one’s life for defence of the country. “Entire nation is proud of the ultimate sacrifices rendered by our national heroes,” the ISPR quoted COAS as saying. COAS also reiterated firm resolve of the Armed Forces against enemies of Pakistan.

Also, COAS General Qamar Javed Bajwa and Begum COAS visited families of Shaheed Captain Affan Masood Khan and Shaheed Lieutenant Muhammad Ukasha Talal at Lahore. COAS prayed for departed souls and offered Fateha. COAS lauded their supreme sacrifice in the line of duty. “We owe our peace and stability to Shuhada who wrote history with their blood,” the COAS said. Corps Commander, Lieutenant General Muhammad Abdul Aziz was also present on the occasion.
