Federal Interior Minister Sheikh Rashid Ahmed on Thursday said that nation will soon get a good news as Punjab police is closing in on suspects of Johar Town blast.
Sheikh Rashid, in a video statement, said that elements who want to spread unrest and pressurize Pakistan will always fail as the country will never yield to such tactics.
Interior Minister further said that 86 percent and 46 percent fencing has been completed on Afghanistan and Iran border respectively.
Praising Prime Minister, Sheikh Rashid said that normalcy in political and economic spheres returned during Imran Khan’s government. He added that enemies of the country cannot accept this reality and are now adopting path of terrorism but they will fail.
He reiterated that Pakistani nation, along with the Army, will continue their journey towards progress and peace.
It merits mention that at-least three people were killed while 21 others were reported injured after an explosion rocked Johar Town locality of Lahore.
A case of the blast was registered in CTD Lahore police station on the complaint of SHO Abid Baig. The FIR includes 7ATA, 3/4 Explosives Act, 302, 324, 148/149 and other serious provisions.
Three unidentified terrorists have also been named in the FIR. The text of the FIR states that the terrorists used a vehicle and a motorcycle for the operation.
