National health conference concludes

SIALKOT - A week-long national health conference concluded here under the auspices of Khawaja Safdar Medical College Sialkot (KMSMC) here Sunday.
Principal Khawaja Safdar Medical College Sialkot Prof. Dr.Zafar Ali Chaudhary told the newsmen that the conference provided unique opportunities to the doctors and medical students to share their experiences and views and to learn from each other.
The scientific sessions on medicine and allied, paediatrics, surgery and allied, Gynae, Eye, ENT, cardiology, medical education and psychiatry were held on the last day of the conference.
As many as 16 workshops of the doctors and the medical students were held during the conference.
As many as 60 senior doctors across the country delivered their lectures about the latest technologies of medical treatment.
MPAs Mansha Ullah Butt, Ch Muhammad Ikram, Ch.Tariq Akhtar Subhani, Ch.Arshad Javaid Warraich, Rana Muhammad Iqbal Harnah, Commissioner Gujranwala Division Khawaja Shamail Ahmed, Principal Khawaja Muhammad Safdar Medical College Sialkot (KMSMC) Sialkot Prod Dr Zafar Ali Chaudhary, Sialkot DCO Iftikhar Ali Sahu, College of Physicians and Surgeons of Pakistan (CPSP) Vice President Dr Khalid Masood Gondal, EDO (Health) Sialkot Dr Ziaul Hassan, DHO Sialkot Dr Javaid Warraich and senior journalists attended the concluding ceremony.
Addressing concluding ceremony,Principal KMSMC Sialkot Prof Dr.Zafar Ali Chaudhary told the participants that the annual results of KMSMC Sialkot remained 99 percent this year and it clinched 2nd position across Punjab.
