Rawalpindi   -  A taxi driver, who went missing from limits of Police Station Koral was found dead in Sanghori in Gujar Khan district, informed sources on Tuesday.

The deceased was identified as Muhammad Irfan. His body was moved to DHQ Hospital by the Rescue 112 for autopsy, sources said.

According to details, a man lodged complaint with Koral police that his brother Irfan, a taxi driver by profession, went missing and his mobile phone was also found switched off. He speculated that unknown men kidnapped Irfan. Police registered case and started investigation. Meanwhile, Gujar Khan police found body of Irfan and moved to hospital for post-mortem. A police officer said torture marks were found on body of the deceased.

Meanwhile, body of another man was found in a cabin installed outside a college at Chakri Road, the limits of PS Saddar Bairooni. Rescue 1122 moved the body to DHQ Hospital for post-mortem. The reason behind the murder was yet to be determined by police investigators.
