LAHORE - The official logo of the Engro 52nd National Volleyball Championship was launched here at the Punjab Sports’ Gymnasium Hall during an impressive ceremony on Tuesday. Country’s premier volleyball activity will be played at the same venue from Nov 27 to Dec 4. Addressing the press conference, Pakistan Volleyball Federation (PVF) Chairman Ch Muhammad Yaqoob, along with the sponsors, announced the details of the championship. He said 16 teams of different departments and provinces will participate in the eight-day competition, which include Army, Navy, PAF, Wapda, Police, Railways, Balochistan, KP, Punjab, Sindh, Islamabad, AJK, Gilgit-Baltistan, POF Wah, HEC and Pakistan Board. He said Trans Group/TPT and Blitz extended supporting hand to them to promote the game to the next level. Ms Shamsa Hashmi, PVF Vice President, Rao Omar Hashim Khan, Moied Javed and Shah Naeem Zafar also spoke on the occasion.
