ISLAMABAD - Ali Abid helped Bails edged out West Indies Cricket Club by nine runs in a friendly match played here at KRL cricket ground. Batting first, Bails posted a huge total of 305 for the loss of seven wickets. Ali Abid played superb knock of 114-ball 126 runs with the help of 14 boundaries and two sixes. M Altaf added 45 runs, Imtiaz Hussain made 33 and Inam 30 runs. Syed Sammer Abbas took two wickets. In reply, West Indies were all out for 296 in 44.4 overs. Tauseef was top scorer for the losers with 63 runs while Kamran added 52, Ayaz 43 and Saddam 34 runs. Mumtaz was successful bowler for the winners as he clinched 3-48, Bilal Azeem took 2-20 and Baqir and Nasir got one wicket each.
