PML-Q denies sending minister names to PPP

LAHORE - A PML-Q spokesman on Sunday said the party hasnt forwarded any list of ministers to the government so far. The party high command is in the process of getting inputs from various tiers of the leadership over the PPP offer, he added. In a press statement, the Pakistan Muslim League-Q spokesman said the top party leadership, in order to reach a final decision on the PPP offer, was not only getting the opinion of the parliamentarians and senior leadership but also reaching the district level leaders to know their point of view too. He said the party chief Chaudhary Shujaat Hussain had stated at a number of occasions that the 'Q would take a decision regarding the PPP invitation while keeping in view the larger interests of the country and the party. The PML-Q spokesman claimed that his party had not only served the country and the masses well during its five-year term but it was also playing a proactive role as an opposition force at the moment. Meanwhile, Pakistan Muslim League-Q spokesman, while rejecting the news reports regarding partys central working committee meeting on Monday, said no CWC meeting was to be held in Islamabad today.
