Eight more schools sealed in Attock as COVID-19  cases surge

ATTOCK - Eight more schools have been sealed in district Attock as the coronavirus cases continue to rise even at educational institutions, it was learnt on Saturday.  With the closure of eight more schools, the total number of schools sealed so far in the district this week had reached 33. The increasing number of cases in educational institutions has made parents anxious. How ordinary people can be expected to follow the Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) when the federal ministers and other senior leaders of the ruling Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) are not interested in following them. In one such instance, Special Assistant to Prime Minister (SAPM) Zulfi Bukhari was found without a facemask during his visit to the Buddhist sites of Takht-i-Bhai, Mardan. The SAPM was also found least bothered about maintaining social distancing. Director Archaeology, who was accompanying Zulfi on the occasion, did not take precautionary measures either.
