Chief Secretary Punjab Jawad Rafique Malik and Inspector General of Police Punjab, Inam Ghani, on Wednesday, called on Prime Minister (PM) Imran Khan in Lahore.

According to details, both the officers briefed the PM about the law and order situation.

On the occasion, Chief Minister (CM) Punjab Sardar Usman Buzdar was also present during the meeting.  

It was conveyed to the Prime Minister (PM) that a  new strategic system to ensure access of rights to women has been established.  

The PM directed for strict and immediate steps for ending incidents against women and for their protection. He said that immediate measures must be taken to ensure stringent punishment to the culprits.

Moreover the pertinent steps that government has taken against land grabbers, price hike and hoarding were also discussed.
