KHANEWAL - Executive District Officer (Community Development) (EDO-CD) Mian Abdul Ghafoor has expressed displeasure over the use of substandard material in the construction of Special Education Centre Mian Channu and directed the officials concerned to ensure quality in the work.
Talking to media people during his surprise visit to the under construction of Special Education Centre Mian Channu, the EDO said that the under construction centre consisted of 10 classrooms, three modern computer labs, faculty centre, principal office and six residences. This is a mega project for special children which will be completed in 18 months with Rs40.79 million, he said and added that no one will be allowed to misuse these funds.
DIO Imran Aslam and principal of the institute Ghaziya Sehar was also present on the occasion. Mian Abdul Ghafoor also said that class in the centre will be started from June next year.
