BAHAWALPUR:  People caught a man, assaulting a five years old girl sexually in his house here in Bindra Pulli area of Bahawalpur city on Sunday. The alleged rapist was handed over to the police.

Resident of Bindra Pulli area, Khadim Hussain told that the Bahawalpur Saddr Police that his five-year-old daughter (U) was playing outside her house along with kids of the neighbours. When she did not return home after quit sometime, the family members got worried and started search her. He claimed that during the search, as they came near the house of Malik Muhammad Fayyaz, they heard to shrikes coming from the house. Upon which they entered house and found out that criminal Shafiq was assaulting the minor girl sexually. As the alleged rapist saw approaching locals, he attempted to flee but people caught him and handed over to the police.

The Bahawalpur Saddr Police took the alleged rapist Shafiq into custody and registered a case against him.
