Wattoo dubs CM ‘Ghanta Ghar’ for getting all powers

HAFIZABAD
A warm welcome was accorded to PPP Punjab President Mian Manzoor Ahmad Watto by the citizens belonging to all shades of opinion on his arrival her on Tuesday.
Markazi Anjuman Tajran President Sheikh Muhammad Amjad, who is an old PML-N worker paid rich tribute to Mr Wattoo for giving district status to Hafizabad in 1993 and added that they would never forget his historic decision fulfilling the longstanding demand of the masses. He further said that he would always be remembered by the people of Hafizabad. He also thanked him for according proprietary rights to the poor shopkeepers (tenants of the municipality) during his tenure as the Punjab chief minister.
In this connection a function was arranged in his honour in a local private school which was addressed and attended by large number of social and political workers.
Later, while addressing a press conference at press club, Mr Wattoo lashed out at Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif for his anti-people policies and instead of resolving the problems being faced by the workers, peasants and traders, he had created multiple problems for them. He termed CM as Ghanta Ghar by getting all powers.
He said that the PML-N was mastermind of rigging and it had came to power by opposing the PPP but due to its anti-people policies, the graph of PPP was becoming high day by day. He declared that the PPP would be victorious in the next general election.
Earlier, the PPP stalwart addressed the workers convention at Jinnah Hall where he called upon the workers to shun their petty differences and forge greater unity. He praised the services and sacrifices of the workers for the party in the past and hoped that they would continue their services to make the party strong in the future. He said that he has started mass contact campaign in all the districts for the strengthening the party.
