62 docs get house jobs

LAHORE - Lahore General Hospital Administration has selected 62 doctors against the vacancies of house officers. These recruitments have been made under the PMDC Rules, House Foundation Year 2010.
A total of 146 candidates were interviewed by the panel comprising Post Graduate Medical Institute (PGMI) Principal Prof Anjum Habib Vohra, LGH MS Dr Imtiaz Ahmad and professors of various departments at LGH on Tuesday for final selection.
 The selected doctors will assume their responsibilities on July 1. Prof Vohra said that new house physicians and surgeons had been selected purely on merit and they would be given stipend according to the government rules.  He expressed the hope that new recruitments would go a long way in enhancing the service standard at the hospital.
He emphasised the new comers to perform their duties with dedication and a sense to serve the ailing humanity.
