ISLAMABAD - Islamabad police on Tuesday booked two persons, including a senior police official, on charges of sodomising a teen in the jurisdiction of Shalimar police station Islamabad.
"Islamabad Police have booked two people for sodomising a teenager. We are investigating the case after registering an FIR against them," a duty officer of Shalimar police station told this scribe.
Umer Daraz, father of the 13-year old victim, had reported the incident to the police about three days ago. However, the police delayed registration of the case believably to give a clean chit to the accused Ata Shah, a high-ranking police officer from Balochistan.
SHO Sajad Bokhari confirmed the incident, however, tried to hide identity of the prime accused Ata Shah.
"We have registered an FIR against the accused and are conducting medical tests," Bokhari told The Nation.
