2.4kg cocaine seized at Karachi Airport

ISLAMABAD - In line with the vision of Prime Minister Imran Khan to combat smuggling, the Customs staff posted at Jinnah International Airport, Karachi, continued crackdown against illegal movement of narcotics and contraband goods. 

These consistent efforts of the Customs staff resulted in seizure of 2.4 kilograms of narcotics (pure cocaine) from two passengers arriving from an African country via Qatar, said Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) in a statement. Total value of narcotics seized is expected to be Rs49 million. 

Further legal proceedings against the two foreign nationals are underway.
