LAHORE – The City School Model Town campus outlasted Muslim Town campus by eight wickets in the Inter School Cricket Tournament final here at the Model Town Whites cricket ground on Monday. The tournament was organised by CR Sports Department and hosted by Model Town campus. Model Town Campus principal Ms Aneeka was the chief guest at the final while sports coordinator Asgher Anjum Khan, Mrs Badar and Mrs Huma Khurram, HM of the school and head coach The City School CR Nadeem Gondal were also present there. Put into bat first, Muslim Town scored 117-9 in 15 overs. Bakht Jahangir slammed 53 runs while Zaigham added 12. Ammad Sohail and Usama Tahir claimed two wickets each. In reply, Model Town chased the target in 12.1 overs for the loss of just two wickets. Abdul Ahad Butt hammered unbeaten 51 with the help of five fours while Fardeen Butt made unbeaten 28.
