PCB postpones National T20 Cup semi final in Rawalpindi

LAHORE: Pakistan Cricket Board has postponed semifinal of National T20 Cup due to countrywide protests against operation on protesters staging sit-in at Faizabad, Islamabad.

A cricket match was scheduled to be played in Rawalpindi today. According to the PCB board, it is monitoring the situation and will update on the latest development. Match has been postponed due to tense situation and will be held on Monday. 

In first semi-final, Lahore Whites will take on Faisalabad while in second Lahore Blues will face FATA.

Security forces including police, Rangers and other agencies have launched operation to break up the Islamabad sit-in being conducted by religious parties since November 8.

One policeman has martyred, at least 63 people have been injured and shifted to PIMS hospital.
