Peshawar - Senior leader of Pakistan people’s party and Member National Assembly Syed Khursheed Ahmed Shah while addressing a gathering of provincial PPP leaders and workers said Wednesday that clash among institutions always brought dangerous results. Syed Khursheed Ahmed Shah was addressing the provincial leaders and workers at the residence of former provincial minister Zahir Shah in Peshawar. “Today we are bearing the brunt in the shape of poverty, unemployment and dearness,” he said. Khurshid Shah said that people were now raising fingers on performance of govt, judiciary and many other important organisations. “This situation is very dangerous and we are heading towards a disastrous cul-de-sac,” he added. Former Opp leader emphasised that he was a political worker and could see the political fermentation brewing across the wall of power politics and that’s what had made him worried under the current politico-social situation. He said that this country has been put on the mercy of international financial organisations and that’s what made him afraid of the country’s utter failure on economic front. He said that there was a golden history of PPP’s sacrifices for democracy and they will not go these sacrifices waste in any manner.
The former opposition leader said that he never saw such an ‘incapacitated and senseless’ government ever in his political career spanning over 50 years. He said that this government was preparing for brining mini-budget to further burden this poverty-stricken nation with taxes and poverty. He prayed to God to keep this country safe and bring happiness in the life of poor and needy people of this country.
