Swat - The weather turned chilly in Swat as the valley has received first winter snowfall of the season. 

Mingora city and its surrounding areas have received rainfall while tourist spots mainly Kalam, Bahrain and Malamjabba received first snowfall resulting in drop of temperature below zero celsius. 

According to reports, mountains of Utror Kalam received snowfall which was continued till last morning. The intermittent rain spell also remained continued in Swat since Sunday while Met Office said different parts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa including Charsadda, Nowshehra, Swat and Noshehra would experience more rain with snowfall at some isolated parts during coming days. As the weather turned cold people took out warm cloths and blankets and thronged to restaurants for soup and fish and chicken shops at Mingora and Saidu Sharif.
