Federal Minister offers Rs20m to CM's relief fund

LAHORE - A federal minister has got in touch with Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif and expressed his desire to contribute a huge amount to Chief Ministers Relief Fund for the flood affectees, it is reliably learnt. The Chief Minister kept wondering over the message but at the same time he was all praise too, for the minister. It has been also learnt that the federal minister believes the relief and rehabilitation process of the Punjab government is comparatively flawless and more result-oriented as compared to other governments and so he is sure his contribution will reach the affectees. It was for the sake of his satisfaction only that he had contacted the Chief Minister and expressed his noble desire, the minister said. As per sources, the Chief Minister is of the view that he and his party must appreciate the noble inspiration and act of the person who provides considerable amount of relief fund for the flood-hit people and vests his complete trust in them for the purpose of its fair distribution. We should be thankful to God that people show us regard and trust us in connection with our relief services and step for the flood-hit. It has also been learnt that the sum offered by the said federal minister for relief purpose amounts to Rs20 million.
