LAHORE (Agencies) - Pakistan, drawn in Group E, will re-launch its campaign by taking on hosts Iran in the second round of the Asian Men's Volleyball Championship will be played from Sunday (today) in Teheran. Pakistan Volleyball Federation spokesman said here on Saturday that in the second round, the first eight winning teams will compete in group E and F while the remaining eight teams will compete in group H and G. The grouping of the 16th Asian Sr Men's Volleyball Championship based on the result of the preliminary round is Group E comprises Iran, India, Japan and Pakistan, Group F consists of China, Sri Lanka, Australia and South Korea, in Group G are Chinese Taipei, Afghanistan, Kazakhstan and Thailand while Group H comprising Indonesia, Uzbekistan, Qatar and Turkmenistan. The schedule of second round is: Pakistan vs Iran, India vs Japan, China vs South Korea and Sri Lanka vs Australia, Chinese Taipei vs Thailand, Afghanistan vs Kazakhstan, Indonesia vs Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan vs Qatar.
