LAHORE - The DHA National Junior Badminton Championship got underway here at the Captain Fasih Babar Amin Shaheed Sports Complex DHA.
Director Sports Branch DHA Lahore Brig (R) Munir Ahmad inaugurated the championships. In the opening match U-19 doubles, Fayyaz ur Rehman/Afnan Khan beat Saad Amir/Ibrahim Rasheed by 21-17. Pakistan Badminton Federation (PBF) President Wajid Ali Ch thanked the DHA Lahore for sponsoring the national badminton events. “We will continue to collaborate with DHA Lahore and will organize two consecutive International Badminton Tournament in the month of October and November this year.”
Speaking on the occasion, the Director Sports DHA Lahore said: “We will support all the National Federations for the promotion of the sports in the country.
