LAHORE (PR): Farmers Associates Pakistan Executive Committee Meeting was held at Lahore where Makhdoom Shah Mehmood Hussain Qureshi as chairman, Hussain Jahania Gardezi as vice chairman, Afaq Tiwana as MD and Dr Tariq Bucha as president of Farmers Associates Pakistan were elected unanimously.
Subsequent to Executive Committee Meeting, 122nd Annual General Meeting was held here where newly elected office bearers, many members and worthy guests participated. After the usual proceedings, a special presentation was made by a team of Fauji Fertilizer Company led by Dr Muhammad Anwar, Regional Manager, who explained the recent taxation measures announced by the federal government and its impact on their input cost and special measures pertaining to fertilizer were highlighted.
