Retired senior judge and former caretaker Prime Minister of Pakistan Mir Hazar Khan Khoso has passed away on the 26th of June, at the age of 92.
According to reports, the former PM had been undergoing treatment in Quetta, Balochistan for quite some time.
Mir Hazar Khan Khoso was an important political figure as he also served as the Chief Justice of the Balochistan High Court and twice served as the caretaker Governor of Balochistan for a short period and resigned from the post on July 13, 1991.
Furthermore, he later become a judge of the Federal Shariah Court as well and finally attained the position of the Chief Justice in the year 1991. Khoso also served as the Chairman of the Zakat Council.
The funeral will be held in Balochistan. Funeral prayers will be offered today at 12pm, in Katpar Sharif.
