Late Friday night, cool wind accompanied by light rainfall made their way to Lahore and turned the heat levels down making the weather quite pleasant.

The rain led to load shedding in various areas of Lahore as many feeders of the Lahore Electricity Supply Company (LESCO) tripped. Rainfall was also reported in other parts of the country including Rawalpindi, Islamabad, Chiniot and Kasur. 

The Met Office has predicted dust-thunderstorm-rain at scattered places in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, upper and central Punjab, Gilgit Baltistan and Kashmir. However, hot weather is expected in other parts of the country, while very hot in plain areas.
