LAHORE - Incharge Investigation Police Station Defence-B, Inspector Nasir Baig was dismissed from his service with immediate effect here on Thursday on the charges of illegal activities and unlawfully favoring of criminals. As per details, Nasir Baig had arrested two accused namely Ali Abbas and Mian Usman involved in FIR (No 93) lodged at Peoples Colony Police Station, Faislabad. Investigation Officer Sub-Inspector Nasrullah went to police station Defence-B and informed about the said accused. Inspector Nasir Baig replied that the accused had been sent to the judicial lock-up after the compilation of investigation. Nasrullah approached the District Jail and met the Jail Superintendent, where he came to know the said accused were never sent to the jail.
