Sindh PML-Q ready to join hands with PPP

KARACHI PML-Q Sindh chapter has given formal approval for joining hands with the PPP government here on Tuesday. The PML-Q Sindh Council meeting has reposed full confidence in the leadership of PML-Q President Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain and Secretary Mushahid Hussain Syed in a meeting of PML-Q Sindh Council held at a local hotel and supported the contacts between the PML-Q and PPP. The party meeting of the PML-Q Sindh Council was held to review the options for affiliation with the PPP-led Federal and provincial governments. The chief of PML-Qs Sindh chapter Ghous Bux Mehar chaired the meeting. The PML-Q, Sindh Council meeting comprising the members and legislators of the party from Sindh province gave approval to the central leadership of the party for an alliance with the PPP. Two members of the PML-Q (Likeminded Group), Nuzhat Pathan and Ketan Mal, also attended the meeting. Earlier, these two members had left Chaudhry Shujaat-led PML-Q and joined Arbab Rahim led Like-minded group. Nuzhat Pathan and Ketan Mal have again changed their loyalties and expressed trust on Chaudhry Shujaat and Ghous Bux Mehar. Addressing the Press conference following the meeting of PML-Q Sindh Council, PML-Q Sindh President Ghous Bux Mehar said that the party Sindh chapter will support the central leadership decision to join the PPP-led govt in Centre and provinces. He said that the leadership of the PML-Q was taking the decision in the benefit of the country and the people stating that the country was passing through a critical situation and the national consensus of the political forces was need of the hour. He said that PML-Q has decided to form alliance with PPP to save democracy and asserted that the decision was taken to stop the conspiracy of the rule of technocrats.
