LAHORE - Federal Basketball Association (FBBA) General Secretary Ouj-e-Zahoor has said that after successful holding of Inter-Club Championships at Islamabad, the association will now organize All Pakistan Basketball Tournament at Liaquat Gymnasium Pakistan Sports Complex Islamabad from May 30 to June 4, 2022. “Efforts are being made to invite all the affiliated units of Pakistan Basketball Federation (PBBF) to vie for the top honours. All the participating teams will be accommodated in the PSB Hostels while the federation will provide all the technical support for successful conduct of the event,” he said. Ouj-e-Zahoor said that this event would provide an opportunity to continue basketball activities at grassroots level as all the units of the federation will prepare their teams. “During the event, the PBBF will select the national camp trainees for the effective participation in the forthcoming 14th South Asian Games to be organised by Pakistan in March 2023,” he said and added that they are also planning to hold coaches and referees clinics before the South Asian Games in Pakistan.
