Chief Justice of Pakistan Mian Saqib Nisar stated that he doesn’t have a political agenda.

The chief justice, who was hearing a case related to prices of medicines, said, “I don’t have any political agenda.”

He stressed that he didn’t even want to touch political cases, but the situation demanded it

“Our intentions are clear, anybody can test us in any way,” he said.

CJP Nisar further said that he only wanted that the people were provided with all essentials. They should be provided with medicines to fight diseases.

About prices of medicines, the chief justice said no one would make any investments without considerations of earning profit, but there should be reasonable profit.

The chief justice directed all pharmaceutical companies to come up with a comprehensive report on prices of medicines so that the court could pass an appropriate order in this regard on next hearing.
