PDM to hold long march after Senate elections: Bilawal Bhutto

Chairman Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) Bilawal Bhutto Zardari on Saturday reiterated that a long march will be held after elections of the Senate and puppet prime minister will be sent home.

Addressing a public rally, Bilawal Bhutto while asking supporters to prepare for the upcoming long march said that all democratic workers from across the country will march against the government.

Bilawal Bhutto said that PPP restored 1973 constitution through 18th amendment but selected rulers want to take back rights of the public and provincial autonomy.

He further said that his party laid foundation of CPEC for development of backward areas; however, incumbent government is trying to end the project by slowing down the pace of development.

Bilawal continued to list steps of the PPP government and said that during their tenure, people were provided employment opportunities, pension of senior citizens was increased by 100 percent, salary of government employee saw a jump of 150 percent but the PTI government, which came into power through rigging, created an economic crisis in the country and increased inflation in the country.
