RAWALPINDI - The City Police Officer (CPO) Muhammad Ahsan Younas has issued transfer and posting orders of eight station house officers, informed sources on Tuesday.
A notification in this regard has also been issued by the office of CPO, they added.
According to sources, CPO Muhammad Ahsan Younas has transferred SHO Police Station (PS) Kallar Syedan Sub Inspector (SI) Ghazanffar Abbas and posted him as SHO PS Taxila. He was replaced by SI Qaisar Rasheed as new SHO PS Kallar Syedan. Similarly, SI Raja Arshad, who was serving as PSO to SP Potohar Division, has been posted as SHO PS Wah Cantt, they said adding that SHO PS Chontra Inspector Zaheer Ahmed Butt was also removed from his post by the top cop. Inspector Aamir Khan has replaced him as new SHO PS Chontra, sources mentioned. They said Inspector Nadim Abbas was appointed as SHO PS Morgah while SI Waqar Ahmed was posted as SHO PS Kahuta and SI Muhammad Masroor of Legal Branch has been transferred and posted as SHO PS Kotli Sattian.
All the newly appointed SHOs have assumed their charge following the orders of CPO Muhammad Ahsan Younas, sources said
