Gas cylinder explosion took life of a 12-year-old boy in the Wahdat colony area of Lahore, on Sunday.

According to details, the 12-year-old Abdullah died on the spot owing to the cylinder explosion. The tragic incident happened while Abdullah was getting the gas cylinder filled.

It has been reported by the eyewitnesses that the moment the cylinder caught fire, the owner of the shop alongwith other customers fled the scene but 12-year-old Abdullah couldn't be rescued. 

The owner of the cylinder shop, Taqdeerullah has been arrested arrested by the police.

It has been reported by the locals that the owner is running an illegal shop in the residential area.
