KHYBER AGENCY -A female teacher of the Government Primary Teacher (PTC) was shot dead by unknown armed motorcycles riders on Tuesday here in Shahkas area of Tehsil Jamrud.
The sources said that government teacher Shenaz Nazli was on her way towards school along with her 13-year-old, when two unknown armed persons intercepted and opened indiscriminate firing on them.
She received multiple bullet wounds and was shifted to Jamrud Hospital and from where she was referred to Peshawar hospital due to her precarious condition.
Sources said that her son also sustained injuries. The criminals successfully managed escape after committing the crime.
Hospital sources said the critically wounded teacher undergone an urgent surgery but succumbed to her injuries.
Soon after the incident, the administration launched search operation in the area. Twenty-five suspected persons were arrested and put behind the bars beside impounding 10 motorcycles.
