Five kids among 12 dead in Gujranwala, Sehwan accidents

At least 12 persons including five school-going children and four persons of a same family lost their lives in two road accidents occurred separately near Sehwan and Gujranwala cities here on Tuesday. According to the police and rescue officials, the first incident occurred near Bhan Saeedabad Town of Sehwan district where a train hit rickshaw on a railway crossing. According to details, the rickshaw was hit by a fat-moving train at an unmanned railway crossing in Jamshoro near Sehwan Sharif. The Karachi-bound train was coming from Peshawar.
Two students died on the spot while six others including a student succumbed to injuries in hospital. Khalid, Azhar and Sachal were among those killed in the incident, the police said. Similarly in Gujranwala, four persons of a same family including a woman were killed when a speeding a bus hit a rickshaw on Sialkot Road near Chak Nizam.
According to the rescue teams, a woman was also among the deceased.
The bodies were shifted to nearby hospital whereas the police have registered a case. 
As per preliminary report, eight people, including five schoolchildren were on board the rickshaw who died on the spot when the speeding train rammed into the rickshaw. Three other people sustained critical injuries in the incident.
