Speaker National Assembly Asad Qaiser on Tuesday has said that resolution of public problems lies in a strong parliament.

He said this while talking to Speake Punjab Assembly Chaudhary Pervez Elahi. The speaker said the legislatures will have to play their role for legislation whilst rising above political affiliation.

He said responsibility rests with all the members to ensure sanctity and respect of the parliament. The speaker said all the provinces will have to work in coordination with the centre to address the problems faced by the country.

In his remarks, Chaudhary Pervez Elahi said steering the country out of the crisis is the collective responsibility of all the parliamentary parties.
