KP CM takes notice of low gas pressure in Peshawar

Peshawar   -  Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Mahmood Khan,  while taking notice of the issues regarding load shedding and low pressure of gas in the province especially in provincial capital Peshawar, called the high ups of Sui Northern Gas Pipe Line (SNGPL) to his office on Friday.

Provincial Minister Taimur Jhagra was also present on this occasion. The chief minister expressed serious concerns over the issues of low gas pressure for domestic consumers of the province and directed the SNGPL general manager for necessary steps on urgent basis to resolve the issue within next 48 hours and submit a report accordingly.

He further directed the concerned authorities that the ongoing projects for the rehabilitation and improvement of gas supply infrastructure in the province be completed as soon as possible in order to ensure uninterrupted supply of gas to domestic consumers during the current winter season.

Briefing about the projects for rehabilitation of gas supply in Peshawar, SNGPL GM informed that 63 Km pipeline has been replaced during the last financial year, adding that 123 Km pipeline would be replaced during the current financial year.

 with a total cost of Rs 203 million in Peshawar District.
