Pakistan beat Kazakhstan 2-1 in U-12 ITF Asia Tennis final

LAHORE - Pakistan junior team players have created a history by beating hosts Kazakhstan 2-1 in a thrilling final of the team event of Under-12 ITF Asia Tennis Championship at Nur Sultan, the capital city of Kazakhstan, on Friday. 
Pakistan’s Hamza Roman provided Pakistan a perfect start in the team competition finals as he defeated Traigel Rodion with a margin of 6-2, 7-5. Pakistan lost the second match when hosts’ Pshenichny Yaroslav beat Abubakar Talha 6-3, 6-1. In the decisive doubles, Pakistani duo of Hamza Roman and Abubakar Talha play out their hearts fought till the end which helped them beat Kazakhstan’s pair of Pshenichny and Tagibekov by 6-4, 6-7, 12-10. 
Soon after registering the doubles victory, Pakistani players thanked to Allah Almighty for winning the finals and also thanked the nation for their prayers. They said: “We trained very hard under our able coaches, who made us physically and mentally strong that helped us give tough fights to our opponents especially arch-rivals India and then Kazakhstan in the final. We will continue to work hard and try to win more laurels for Pakistan.”
