LAHORE - Giving final touches to the preparation of their camp probables, Sports Board Punjab coaches organised practice hockey match between U-16 girls camp probables at the National Hockey Stadium on Tuesday. In the practice hockey match, Punjab Greens defeated Punjab Whites by 3-2 margin. Both the teams exhibited fighting game and attacked the goalposts of their opponents repeatedly. DG Sports Punjab Adnan Arshad Aulakh also witnessed U-16 Girls practice hockey match. He said the practice matches among camp probables is the best way to polish their games skills. Talking on this occasion, Aulakh appreciated the preparation of Punjab boys and girls for Inter-Provincial Boys Under-17 and Girls Under-16 Hockey Tournament scheduled to be played at National Hockey Stadium from Nov 2 to 5, 2021. “SBP coaches are imparting modern training to Punjab camp trainees so that they can offer satisfactory performance in the forthcoming grand hockey event.” Meanwhile, Punjab U-17 boys’ weightlifting camp is also under progress in Nishtar Park Sports Complex for the preparation of Inter-Provincial Under-17 Boys Weightlifting Tournament which is going to be organised from Nov 2 to 4, 2021.
