N victory in Cantt Board polls reflects public confidence

Minister of State of Interior and Education Engineer Muhammad Balighur Rehman has said that one of the three independent councillors who were elected in the Cantt Board election, was his nominee while the two others elected councillors were also PML-N like-minded. Talking to The Nation on the phone, he claimed that the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf had been defeated in the Cantt Board elections.
The minister said that PML-N victory in the Cantt Board elections reflected confidence of the masses in the ruling party.
To a question about recent visit by Chinese president, he said that Chinese investment would bring economic revolution in Pakistan. The investment of $46 billion is unpredicted in the history of Pakistan which will change the destiny of 200 million people, he pointed out.
Balighur Rehman elaborated that Pak-China economic corridor would give birth to various project, new motorway would cross through Uch Sharif while vast areas of South Punjab would be benefited from the project.
He said the incumbent government had set up Quaid-e-Azam solar park in Bahawalpur in early stages and trying its utmost to overcome energy crisis.
Balighur Rehman said that prices of essential commodities and petrol were decreased. He lauded PML-N MPA Qazi Adnan Farid efforts for the uplift of his remote constituency and said that with his efforts construction work on dual carriageway from Cantt bakers to Railway Station via Chowk Munir Shaheed would be started soon.
