Minister for Information and Broadcasting Marriyum Aurangzeb has said that the government has prepared budget keeping in view the requirements of the country, reported by Radio Pakistan.
Talking to media persons in Islamabad after budget session, she said the budget is people-friendly and special relief has been provided by increasing allocation for health program and Benazir Income Support Program.
The Minister said that PML-N will once again win the general election this year.
Meanwhile, people belonging to business and agriculture sectors welcoming the federal budget have said that it will help in increasing the standard of life of common man.
Renowned Industrialist Mirza Ikhtiar Baig while talking to Radio Pakistan Karachi correspondent Altaf Pirzado said that reforms announced for agriculture sector will help in boosting agricultural economy.
Siraj Olia Rashdi of Aiwani-e-Zaraat Sindh said that decrease in fertilizer rates and tax remission on import of agriculture related machinery will help promote the agriculture sector.
Finance Minister of Punjab Dr. Ayesha Ghuas Pasha and Economist Muhammad Sohail have also lauded incentives given in new budget.
They termed it a public and investors-friendly budget, containing proposals to encourage exports sector. They expressed hope that this budget will help in further boosting country's economy.
People belonging to different walks of life in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa have lauded the new federal budget.
Commenting on the budget President Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chamber of Commerce and industries Zahidullah Shinwari appreciated the tax reduction specially in corporate and agriculture sectors.
Zahidullah Shinwari said it is a relief budget for the people and business community PSDP has also been increased.
