KARACHI  - Sindh Education Minister, Pir Mazhar ul Haq, on Sunday performed the inauguration of repaired and renovated Shaheed Zulfikar Ali Bhutto Community Primary School in village Dudu Kalhoro in Tehsil Meher. Speaking on the occasion, he said that the present government is taking steps for the promotion of education. He stated that in this regard steps are being taken in accordance with the vision of Shaheed Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto.
Mazhar said that besides construction of primary and high schools in the far flung areas of Sindh. He stated that degree colleges would be established in the talukas in the province where such a facility does not exist. The minister said that construction of 78 degree colleges in the interior of Sindh is included in the current year’s annual development plan.
He stated that facilities for acquisition of higher education would be extended in the interior of Sindh also.
