Talal takes swipe at ‘corrupt’ rulers

QUETTA - Jamhoori Watan Party (JWP) President Nawabzada Talal Bugti took a swipe at the “corrupt” rulers.
“The rulers should wake up to the wheel-jam and shutter-down strike on the 6th death anniversary of Nawab Akabar Bugti,” he said while addressing a condolence reference held at Bugti House in connection with the death anniversary of his father.
He added that the rulers were flexing their muscles for the upcoming elections and they had decided to spend the money “pooled by corruption for this purpose.
He said the complete shutter-down and wheel-jam strike in Balochistan should send a strong message of preparedness on the part of masses for those who called them a handful of people.
He said the four-year rule was “ known to the people and they had no chance to get into the power corridors again”.
He stressed the media and civil society to play their role against, what he called, the corrupt leaders, adding that the people sitting in parliament had lost the confidence of the masses. He warned if they did not mend their ways, the Mao’s revolution of China and Lenin’s Revolution of Russia would be inevitable in Pakistan.
Nawabzada Talal said he accepted all the decision of the Supreme Court and would follow whatever orders were issued by the worthy court.
He accused the security forces of turning a blind eye to the smuggling of the drugs and arms.
