FAISALABAD - An increase of Rs 60 was witnessed in the rate of wheat in markets of Faisalabad. The govt fixed the wheat price at rate of Rs 1050 but now it is being sold at Rs 1110. The increase in wheat price occurred due to its shortage in open market whereas the flour mills owners also enhanced the rate of flour. A market survey revealed that the 20 kg flour bag was available at Rs 565 but now it is being sold in open market at Rs 610 to Rs 625 per 20 kg bag. Vice Chairman Faisalabad Flour Mills Association Muhammad Saleem told the media that the hoarders have stocked wheat in their godowns.
