LARKANA - The 7th death anniversary of slain PPP leader Benazir Bhutto was observed in Garhi Khuda Bux Bhutto and other parts of the country on Saturday.
There was thin attendance on the 7th death anniversary of Benazir Bhutto at Garhi Khuda Bux and Naudero.
Foolproof security arrangements were made to maintain the law and order situation. About 7,000 police, Rangers, commandos, lady police were deployed at all corners of the Larkana district. On the occasion, Quran Khawani was held for the departed soul.
PPP leaders and workers reached Garhi Khuda Bux and offered Fateha on the graves of Benazir Bhutto and Zulfikar Ali Bhutto. The workers also chanted slogans of justice and arrest of the killers of Benazir Bhutto.
While, Pakistan People’s Party Shaheed Bhutto and PPP’s old workers led by Dr Safdar Abbasi separately visited Garhi Khuda Bux and paid rich tributes to the PPP Chairperson Benazir Bhutto. They offered Fateha and laid floral wreaths on the graves.
DEATH ANNIVERSARY OBSERVED IN HYDERABAD
The 7th death anniversary of Benazir Bhutto was observed by the leaders and workers of Pakistan People’s Party here on Saturday. In this connection, the PPP Women Wing and the senior party workers arranged Quran Khawani and Fateha. The party workers also staged demonstration in front of Hyderabad Press Club and demanded the arrest of those involved in assassination of Benazir Bhutto.
